Well hello there, I'm Jonny, and welcome to my wildlife blog. This is the place where I share my wildlife (mainly bird) related shenanigans. Its a mix of articles about things I'm working on and find interesting as well as report of what I have been up to.
So, a little about me. I am currently in the final year of my degree studying Wildlife Ecology & Conservation Science. In addition to that I am nearing the end of my training to become a bird ringer and hope to qualify in the near future. I also volunteer regularly at WWT Slimbridge and the Wiltshire & Swindon Biological Records Centre when I have time.
My main passion is, as you may have guessed, birds. I enjoy pretty much every aspect of them, whether it's travelling to one of my favourite spots to watch them, studying them or learning more about their ecology and behaviour.
